Meet The Genius Company Turning Viral Videos Into Pure Gold – And You've Definitely Seen Their Work

Okay, so let me ask you something. Have you ever been sitting there, minding your own business, scrolling through your Facebook or YouTube, and then suddenly a video comes on that makes you laugh so hard you nearly drop your phone? You watch the whole thing, you share it with your friends, and then you move on with your life without even thinking about who made it.

Well, my dear, that is exactly how the Harmon Brothers have built themselves a very serious and very profitable business empire. And trust me, as Ghanaians who love good content, we need to be paying attention to what these people are doing.

So Who Exactly Are the Harmon Brothers?

The Harmon Brothers are a Utah-based creative agency in the United States that has perfected the art of making viral video advertisements. Now before you yawn and say \"ah, advertising\", hear me out. These are not your ordinary boring commercials that make you change the channel. These are the kind of videos that you actively choose to watch, share with your contacts, and even go back to watch again.

Their secret? They blend humor, storytelling, and smart marketing in a way that feels less like an advert and more like entertainment you actually wanted to see. Companies come to them with products, and they transform those products into viral sensations that millions of people cannot stop talking about.

The Business Behind The Laughter

What makes the Harmon Brothers story so interesting is how they have managed to convert online attention into real, tangible business results. In Ghana, we always talk about how social media is powerful, but many of our businesses are still struggling to crack the code on how to use viral content to actually move their products and services.

The Harmon Brothers have figured this out beautifully. They understand that in today's world, if you can make someone laugh or feel something deeply, they will trust you enough to buy from you. It is that simple, and yet so many brands miss it completely.

What Ghanaian Entrepreneurs Can Learn From This

Now this is the part that should really get our creative minds in Ghana thinking. We have talent in abundance in this country. Our comedians, our content creators, our videographers, our storytellers, they are all world class. The question is whether we are packaging that talent in a way that translates into real business success.

Imagine if a Ghanaian agency could do for local brands what the Harmon Brothers do for American companies. Imagine viral videos for our local food brands, our fashion houses, our tech startups, content that captures the authentic Ghanaian spirit and spreads across the internet like wildfire.

The opportunity is sitting right there waiting for someone brave enough to grab it.

The Bottom Line

The Harmon Brothers are proof that creativity is not just an art, it is a very serious business strategy. In a world where everyone is fighting for attention online, the people who can tell the best stories and make the best content will always win. Ghana, take note. Our moment in the viral video game is coming, and we need to be ready for it.

Viral video shows grocery store employee detaining alleged thief in Vacaville

This week-old viral video captures a dramatic moment at a grocery store: a vigilant loss prevention employee firmly detaining a woman suspected of shoplifting. The clip, now circulating widely on social media, shows the employee restraining the suspect until authorities arrive, earning both praise and debate from viewers. youtube.com

Advocates commend the employee’s swift, proactive stance in safeguarding store inventory and customer safety. Critics, conversely, raise concerns about potential overreach and question if better training or de-escalation tactics could have been applied.

Regardless, the incident has ignited a broader conversation about how retailers balance theft prevention with respectful, safe handling of suspects—especially in front of surveillance cameras and astonished onlookers.

What is your opinion on such matters?

Dear Boy Who Likes My Daughter

A 14 year old girl tells her mom about a boy who agressively pursues her at school.Guess the mother's response, yep, she goes on youtube and addresses the boy directly.
the videos has long since generated over 320,000 views.
In the video, The girl’s mother,Dr. Lindsey Doe  a 33 year old clinical sexologist and video blogger says that while she understands why the boy likes her daughter, he needs to respect her daughter’s wishes. Her daughter and the boy are friends, but the girl wishes to keep things platonic.
Off-camera, the daughter repeats the responses she has given the boy, including “No, thanks” and “Stop asking me.”

While Doe has taken some criticism for lashing out at the boy on such a global scale, Doe says she likes the boy and that he has been a good friend to her daughter.  Doe says she doesn't blame the boy for his behavior, but instead blames modern society’s “never give up” message and how some people view such behavior as romantic in nature.

What do you Think of all this?
What she right in doing that or whas she being too arrogant?

Kris Jenner New Wig: Photo of New Wig for Kardashian Matriarch Goes Viral (VIDEO)

Kris Jenner's new wig has surprised fans, after the Kardashian matriarch was spotted sporting a new wig recently while on her family's holiday to Greece.

Photos of Jenner's new wig have hit the internet, as photographers caught up with her as the 57 year old was jet skiing in the Aegean Sea in Greece this week.

The wig was very different to the usual short pixie cut that Jenner is usually seen with on her show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

Jenner was seen with shoulder length hair tied back in a bandana. The wig was seen waving in the wind as she drove along speeding on the jet skies with her youngest daughter, 15 year old Kylie Jenner.

The family has been filming in Greece over the past week for the latest season of their reality TV show. The entire family was present except Kim Kardashian who had flown to Paris to see her boyfriend Kanye West.

Kim's sister, Khloe Kardashian-Odom, recently spoke about her sister's relationship with the rapper, saying that he knows how to handle her and her family.

"I think Kanye knows how to deal with Kim really well. Because we've known him for so long, he'll come to us if he wants advice on a birthday present or something," Kardashian-Odom revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine. "I like that."

She compared 35-year-old West to Kris Humphries, who is Kim's 28-year-old ex-husband.

"Kris wouldn't even talk to us. I love that with Kanye we have that friendship," Kardashian-Odom told Cosmopolitan. "Because when you're with one of us you're with all of us."

She has also previously revealed that her NBA player husband Lamar Odom also got along well with West.

"I just don't like to encourage it too much because he gets really excited and he sends Kanye lyrics," Kardashian-Odom said during an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" last year.
"Kanye likes them and they kind of, like, egg each other on, but I'll be like, 'Kim, I'm so sorry, he did it again last night. Like, I'm so sorry,'" Kardashian-Odom revealed. "He'll send Kanye crazy rap lyrics."

First viral video of 2013: The Harlem Shake

Gangnam Style was the viral video of 2012 but the internet never sleeps. Six weeks into the new year, a new viral video sensation is taking over.
It’s called the Harlem Shake and as with all viral videos, viewers are usually left scratching their heads trying to figure out what it was that they’ve just seen.

The 30-second video is formulaic – a lone, masked dancer gyrates amidst a few disinterested people. Halfway through the video, the music ratchets up a notch and suddenly the screen is filled with crazy revellers.

The original video was published on February 2 and has already garnered 3.7-million views.

It was devised by a group of teenaged longboarders from Australia’s Sunshine Coast, who were looking for something to do during a rainy spell.

The Harlem Shake is actually a dance, dating back to the early 2000s. But it rarely features in the videos currently doing the rounds. It takes its name from the backing music, which is by Brooklyn-based dance music producer Baauer.

There are now scores of copycat versions featuring firefighters, an endearing father-son duo, the staff of entertainment website IGN, and rapper T Pain.

The fad picked up locally in recent days after a Cape Town based advertising agency the Jupiter Drawing Room made a version and dared its competitors to “out-shake” them.

Of course, the M&G Online had to have its own take.
